Ungh!
It’s the realisation of the thing I blogged before. And it is very very lovely…
To commemorate our 20th anniversary, we will release a deluxe special-edition of music and art, titled Warp20 (Box Set).
The package features new songs, older previously unreleased material from Warp artists, tracks selected as some of his personal favorites by co-founder Steve Beckett and the top ten pieces voted for by Warp fans on Warp20.net. It also includes a beautifully produced book showcasing the label’s rich design history, along with an exclusive hour-long mix and a locked-groove vinyl set.
Drool over it here. It’s crammed full of stuff for the princely sum of £85. You can pre-order it here.
It’ll be so sought after by muso-nerds you’ll be finding them on eBay for huge amounts of money in a few years. If you’re that kind of a horror. I notice that you can’t pre-order multiples. Which is a decent thing. I’ve ordered mine because it touches my geek-parts on so many levels. And it will never be sold.
that cover image looks like a prog rock album cover from 1982. is that good or bad?
Excellent I’d say. IMHO :-)
Ultimate Warp. I want it. http://bit.ly/1aK5XV
Design porn ?
*reads what felix has to say*
That’s what I was (almost) thinking
Me thinks the blogger doesn’t know much about “Design”
Hi Lola – thanks for stopping by and dropping an insult.
Glad you (almost) managed to agree with someone else.
You’ve sure made me think twice before talking about “Design” again.
I think i kind of agree with the prog rock bit but possibly more tubular bells! having said that its definitely my kind of design porn and i ordered my copy immediately only problem is I’m a bit disappointed at the build quality of the packaging it looked so sexy in the photo then in real life the purple is all registered poorly :( bad warp!!
