On the way to work I noticed these vintage (1997) Orbital posters advertising the track they did for the move The Saint. I quite liked the fact that it had been buried behind something that had just been demolished. It’s like excavating modern history.
Took a photo of some graffiti in Barcleona a few years ago and posted it on Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ewarwoowar/141922008/in/set-72057594127821728/
Got a response from some chap called Other Things who runs a Graffiti Archaeology site which traces a similar phenomenon to the Orbital poster. Have a look-see. It is intriguing. http://www.otherthings.com/grafarc/
How funny. I’ve noticed a string of old tube ads at Oxford Circus recently, such as the Addams Family movie and Boy George album. Felt kinda weird – back to the future style!
Managed to get a drunked snap of the Oxford Circus ads on Friday night. I think your weak 1997 effort has been trumped by a 1991 discovery…

OK. You win. For now. But I’ll be back…
