Listening to LTJ BUKEM/ESSENTIAL MIX 1995 – it’s the best ever.

by Iain on January 13, 2010

This is one of my favourite mixes ever. 2 hours of beautiful drum and bass – and perhaps some of the finest, most fitting MCing ever. And to complement that I think everydayjunglist.biz is probably my favourite use of a .biz domain ever.

I saw them live once. Awesome.

(You’re not supposed to call that “seeing them live” are you? But you know what I mean.)

Just listened to a Bar Mar Ten mix from 2006, very similar vibe to the LTJ Bukem mix from over ten years earlier.

NYE 2007 Logical Progression All Star is another great session well worth a listen. Has anyone got a copy of a Bukem mix tape from before 1995 with no MC'ing just 90 mins of pure Bukem mixing? This is the best I ever heard from him and sadly, lost.
