To try and lift everyone’s spirits I’ve put together a little (30min) mix of uplifting feel-good tracks to see if I can raise the mood of the internet. It’s a mix of styles from soul / mashups / hiphop / drum and bass / other so there’s something to suit some people in there.

Tracklist and download link at iainmixedit.tumblr.com or via the iTunes podcast.

Yeah, I’m quite happy to see greedy banks go under instead of being bailed out too. Maybe I’m just jealous that I don’t earn a seven-figure salary (six figures is so yesterday).

If you’re feeling smug about the whole thing you can listen to it in a more celebratory manner too. I’m not going to be judgmental about it.

Saying seven figures or six figures is so nineties. Actually the cool way to say it is, I have a two comma salary. Happy to put that straight.

We were only saying in the office on Friday that Today Was A Good Day is one of the best songs. Ever.

Hmm. Here in the eurozone a comma is the decimal point, so a £1,200,000 salary is £1.20.
