[...] Augmented Reality (AR) has been around for a while but it has never really taken off. However now we can see signs that the next generation of AR is coming. Two companies comes to my mind: Metaio and Total Immersion, both have some really impressive products. Take a look at the video on this Metaio page. It gives a good example of augmented reality. Total Immersion’s Video galley is quite awesome. There are many ways to utilize this technology.
